…I disagree about the ‘good science’ bit. They showed that some specific bees from collapsed hives are geneically different from a general population of bees from before hives collapsed. It is possible that ALL bees have expressed some of the changes, such as the response to the virus, without the virus being the cause. If we tested blood sample from the general population before the 9/11 attacks, and compared them to blood samples from victems of the 9/11 attacks, and found some people showed a genetic expression as a response to a particular virus would we conclude that the virus is responsible for the 9/11 attacks?What is needed is a demonstration that the virus appears within colonies that collapse but not in colonies that do not collapse….
